Abstract
Si le travail émotionnel est souvent présenté comme un acte marchand dans certains métiers, dans cet article il est pensé comme un acte réflexif et régulateur qui se joue au cours du partage et de l’accompagnement des émotions. Au croisement de la psychologie du travail et de la santé, cet article présente un dispositif méthodologique d’explicitation et de régulation des émotions : « la méthode d’approfondissement et d’apaisement émotionnel » (AAE). Il a été initialement développé dans le cadre de l’étude des émotions lors des périodes de transition professionnelle et/ou de vie. En s’inscrivant dans des préoccupations éthiques et épistémologiques, le dispositif a été déployé, de manière longitudinale, en deux grandes phases d’étude entre 2015 et 2022. Les analyses ont mis en évidence un travail émotionnel « conscientisant » et « capacitant » qui participe au développement de ressources en faveur du bien-être psychologique notamment pour accompagner le changement.
