En 2013, Sophie Victorien et Joann Élart dirigeaient pour la revue Criminocorpus un dossier consacré au rapport entre musique et justice. Le présent dossier, s’il s’attache lui-aussi aux sons et aux voix, ne traitera que très peu de musique pour appréhender les enjeux acoustiques de l’espace judiciaire.
