Abstract
À partir de l’étude d’un hashtag anti-grossophobie sur X (anciennement Twitter) et à l’aide d’une approche hybride, combinant ethnographie en ligne, analyse quantitative et analyse de réseau, cet article interroge les différentes facettes de construction et de déploiement du militantisme en ligne. La notion de travail est mobilisée pour décrire la manière dont ce type de mobilisation se forme et évolue dans l’espace socio technique qu’est la plateforme X. L’article rend compte d’un triple travail nécessaire l’existence de ce type de mobilisation de groupe sociaux minorés en ligne : un travail militant visant à légitimer le mouvement, un travail numérique indispensable à la mise en visibilité des contenus et un travail émotionnel de protection des militant-es.
