Abstract
At the age of thirty-eight, Russell Smith has published two novels, How Insensitive (1994), Noise (1998), and a collection of short stories, Young Men (1999). His first novel was short-listed for the Governor General’s Award for 1994, the Chapters/Books in Canada First Novel Award, and Ontario’s Trillium Book Award.
