Abstract
En 2021, l'apparition du poulpe sur les côtes bretonnes a suscité de nombreuses réactions et réaménagements des activités de pêche. L’impact sur les pêcheries de la prolifération de cet animal a priori concurrent (déprédation concernant la coquille Saint-Jacques, le homard, les ormeaux de plongée, et cetera) doit être modéré par l’aubaine économique vécue par l’ensemble de la filière, suite à la création de marchés internationaux. Le phénomène pousse également à considérer la mémoire environnementale des territoires travaillés par les gens de mer. L’article analyse les quelques solutions mises en place, mais surtout les réactions, tout autant angoissées que fascinées, des pêcheurs du Finistère Sud mis face aux bouleversements environnementaux affectant leurs paysages de travail.
