Abstract

Partiendo de trabajos realizados en el proyecto de investigación UNLaR “Como favorecen las TIC y otras herramientas metacognitivas el aprendizaje significativo de la matemática y la física”, el texto presenta la Inteligencia Artificial (IA) y sus diferentes clasificaciones, como reglas, aprendizaje automático, redes neuronales y generativa. Se discuten las implicancias de la IA en la sociedad, incluyendo el potencial de automatizar trabajos y mejorar la educación, así como las preguntas éticas y sociales relacionadas con la responsabilidad del contenido generado por la IA. Se discute la posible adopción generalizada de la IA generativa en el futuro y su aplicación a un contexto educativo como el de las Bibliotecas Escolares. El texto también destaca la importancia de la biblioteca escolar como recurso educativo valioso para el desarrollo académico, social y emocional de los estudiantes, y cómo los bibliotecarios escolares pueden ayudar a los estudiantes a desarrollar habilidades de investigación y pensamiento crítico, apoyados por la IA. En resumen, el texto presenta un panorama general de la IA, la biblioteca escolar y el Pensamiento Computacional como recursos educativos valiosos que pueden mejorar el aprendizaje y el desarrollo de habilidades en la era digital actual.
