Abstract
O Jardim Especulativo é um dos textos que compõem o livro Out of Clear, onde a filósofa, artista e ativista Erin Manning ensaia sobre os desafios e descobertas oriundos da instauração do 3Ecologies Institute, centro de pedagogias transversais, advindo do Sense Lab, sediado na vila de Saint-Anne du Lac, (Quebec, Canada). A partir dos aprendizados e caminhadas que incluem o plantio, manejo e a poda das árvores no 3E, a autora formula a noção de valiação. Manning sublinha a importância em desfazer as distâncias entre sujeito e natureza, práticas culturais e gestão dos recursos e questiona o escalonamento de soluções diante do colapso ambiental. O trabalho nos confronta a profundidade das raízes da branquitude instaurada sobre os modos com os quais nos relacionamos com a terra.
