Abstract

Este artigo surgiu a partir de uma preocupação sobre uma proposta que integra o debate público educacional desde os anos 2000 com o advento do movimento Escola sem Partido, a educação domiciliar ou homeschooling. Assim, objetivou-se compreender a relação entre a doutrina neoliberal e a proposta de política educacional para a educação domiciliar. Para tanto, por via dos postulados de um estudo bibliográfico, a base teórica deste artigo apoiou-se predominantemente em Laval (2019) e Lockmann (2020). Com isso, pôde-se demonstrar e firmar a assertiva de que o neoliberalismo opera por meio de estratégias no campo educacional, sendo a educação domiciliar uma delas. A educação constitui-se, portanto, como nicho mercadológico bastante rentável para a exploração capitalista.
