Cet article se concentre sur les séries originales destinées à un public adolescent conçues pour la plateforme Club Illico de Vidéotron. Pour ce faire, l’article propose une analyse textuelle des séries originales L’Académie (2017-2020) et La Dérape (2018-2020), en cherchant plus précisément à mettre en lumière l’orientation discursive et idéologique de ces récits du point de vue du genre. L’analyse montrera comment la volonté de proposer un récit contre-stéréotypé concernant l’adolescence au féminin mène néanmoins à la reproduction d’une structure narrative relativement classique, infléchie idéologiquement par certaines conceptions de la féminité et une survalorisation du relationnel. En distinguant la construction syntaxique et sémantique des séries télévisées, l’analyse permettra donc de mettre en lumière certains enjeux représentationnels des séries pour ados à l’ère de la télévision par contournement.
