Pour le service de télévision par contournement Club Illico, qui se présente comme le Netflix québécois, les défis sont grands d’entrer en compétition avec l’offre de programmes qui constitue aujourd’hui le menu auquel ont accès les consommateurs de produits audiovisuels via une multitude de plateformes. Comment s’y prennent les joueurs locaux pour tirer leur épingle du jeu face à cette compétition ? Quelles stratégies sont mises en place pour offrir un produit qui rivalise avec l’offre originale des chaînes câblées comme HBO ou des portails comme Amazon et Netflix ? Cet article aborde la question en se penchant sur la série québécoise Blue Moon , offerte en exclusivité sur la plateforme VOD de Vidéotron (Club Illico).
