Abstract
В статье отражены представления о формировании и трансформации идентичности членов мультикультурных сообществ. С опорой на положения, разработанные У. Кимликой, автором представлены два политических подхода, реализуемые государством, в частности противопоставляются принцип благожелательного пренебрежения и политика мультикультурализма. Также выделяются аспекты гражданской идентичности, включая права и обязанности гражданина. Теоретические положения подкрепляются примером политики признания, проводимой Канадой. The paper presents different perspectives on the process of identity formation and transformation in multicultural communities. The author focuses on W. Kymlickas ideas on identity politics and compares two types of policies implemented by the government the principle of benign neglect and the policy of multiculturalism. The article highlights integral aspects of civic identity, including the rights and responsibilities of citizens. Using the example of Canada, the author illustrates the effects multicultural policy has on a heterogeneous society.
