Panikkar, l'interculturalisme et le Québec Lomomba EmongoInterculturalisme 1 .En voilà tout un mot !Simple ou composé, comme substantif ou comme adjectif, le mot à la base du présent essai ne va de soi, ni par ses variantes graphiques ni, encore moins, par le sens qui lui est donné suivant chaque graphie.Que d'interrogations dès lors autour de ce qui tend à devenir, aujourd'hui plus que jamais, un nouveau paradigme pour chercheurs universitaires en mal de compréhension des dynamiques complexes de la diversité culturelle dans les sociétés contemporaines, voire un modèle d'intégration dans la bouche des idéologues en mal d'action cohérente et efficace devant cette réalité remuante.Dans l'essai que voici, je tente de rendre compte d'au moins une assertion de l'interculturalisme antérieure à sa récente acquisition du « certificat de sélection du Québec ».En effet, même si le Québec est aujourd'hui le lieu où, sans doute, on parle le plus de l'interculturalisme dans le monde, ce terme y a « immigré » 2 .Je ne veux pour témoin à l'origine de cette « immigration terminologique » que le paradigmatique Raimon Panikkar .
