Como banco público de desarrollo de tamaño mediano en Turquía, Ilbank es crucial para financiar el suministro de agua. Proporciona préstamos más baratos a los municipios y sirve como intermediario para acceder a fondos internacionales. Ilbank, propiedad de los municipios y diseñado para servirles, es único en el sector bancario de Turquía en términos de financiamiento para la provisión de agua.
