Studying the Funk Transform is a personal endeavor for me, as it was developed by my great grandfather, Paul Georg Funk. There’s a bit of humor in dedicating my time to a mathematical transform that shares my last name, and it adds a unique layer of motivation to my academic pursuits. The Funk Transform itself is complex and intriguing, and diving into its intricacies is a way of connecting with my family’s history while challenging myself intellectually.
