Abstract
À l’instar d’autres médias alternatifs, la baladodiffusion, ou podcasting, s’avère être un instrument de prise de parole publique investi par des voix que l’on entend moins. En contexte linguistique minoritaire, cette forme de diffusion médiatique donne accès à la parole publique à des personnes minorisées et à des pratiques linguistiques locales rarement présentes dans les médias plus officiels. C’est notamment le cas en Acadie du Nouveau-Brunswick où le podcasting offre une émancipation linguistico-médiatique par une prise de parole non pas seulement « en » français, mais dans « son » français. Nous proposons un panorama de l’offre en la matière en mettant l’accent sur la place publique donnée au vernaculaire. Après ce bilan, nous nous concentrons sur le cas d’une émission ( Cosser t’en penses? ) construite autour de la revendication d’une pratique linguistique stigmatisée, le chiac. Ce balado, en phase avec l’idéologie du « par et pour », offre alors un espace sécuritaire ( safe space ) linguistique où l’usage de traits de langue minorés sert d’outil de différenciation, d’inclusion, et donc inéluctablement d’exclusion.
