Abstract
Ce projet-pilote vise à concevoir et évaluer les effets d’un module de formation sur la thématique des violences sexuelles dans le cadre des tâches en éducation à la sexualité. Un total de 15 personnes étudiantes au baccalauréat en éducation préscolaire et enseignement primaire ont effectué toutes les étapes de la démarche évaluative (pré-post) à l’automne 2021 (Canada). Les résultats indiquent que leur participation est associée à une augmentation des connaissances à propos des violences sexuelles envers les enfants, de la motivation à faire de l’éducation à la sexualité et du sentiment d’autoefficacité face à leur rôle de prévention des violences sexuelles auprès des élèves. La présente étude plaide en faveur d’une formation en matière de prévention des violences sexuelles chez le personnel enseignant, et ce, dès leur formation initiale.
