Abstract
Canada has a strong and growing research community focused on the design and development of low-cost printed and organic electronics; from lightweight, sustainable electronics with low manufacturing cost to their use in emerging applications, including wearable electronic sensors, consumer electronics, and low-cost power generation, multidisciplinary research is taking place in Canada to tackle the challenge.This preface highlights the special section that covers research being done in Canada towards printed and organic electronics.
