O imaginário do corpo no filme Robocop

Abstract
Nesse artigo, pretendemos estabelecer uma relação entre o imaginário do filme Robocop: o policial do futuro (1987) e as transformações do corpo humano. Considerando o corpo do protagonista como biocibernético e monstruoso, desenvolvemos uma análise das imagens em diálogo com as questões do contemporâneo. Nas representações do Robocop, identificamos aspectos do imaginário de corpo na atualidade que aludem à ideia de hibridação corpo-maquínica, a utopia de um corpo sem limites e a crença na vitória do humano sobre o maquínico.
