Abstract
La réalité virtuelle (RV) s’intègre depuis une dizaine d’années à la culture contemporaine. Le milieu éducatif est enthousiaste à intégrer la technologie (Lewis et al., 2021; Mukasheva et al., 2023), mais la complexité technique et le manque d’études empiriques rendent la tâche difficile (Annamalai et al., 2023). Le projet ma.réalité (Lalonde et al., 2022) réunit des chercheurs et éducateurs pour explorer son potentiel en éducation artistique. Cet article présente une exploration d’environnements immersifs produits par des élèves, en mettant l’accent sur les notions d’immersion, de corps, de présence et d’interactivité. Les résultats préliminaires démontrent comment un dispositif en RV ouvre des perspectives de création et d’appréciation inédites en éducation aux et avec les arts numériques, des perspectives qui poussent la réalisation artistique au-delà de l’objet ou de l’événement esthétique pour l’amener dans le domaine de l’expérientiel.
