Abstract
Acordai est une œuvre commandée par l’Ensemble Soli-Tutti pour le projet Fronte(i)ra. L’œuvre est écrite sur un texte extrait de la thèse de María Adélia Gonçalves Martins de Abrunhosa portant sur le rituel de la Encomendación de las almas dans les zones des Conseils de Fundáo et Idanha-A-Nova, au Portugal. Dans ce rituel, les femmes, principalement, chantent aux morts pour leur mémoire et leur repos éternel. Aussi les hommes n’interviennent-ils qu’à la fin en une sorte de voile qui couvre le ciel de la vie avec sa noirceur, comme si c’était la mort qui prévalait toujours.
