Na obra Estudos sobre a Personalidade Autoritária (1950), TheodorAdorno apresenta características que dão forma ao tipo de subjetividadeantidemocrática presente nos Estados Unidos na década dequarenta. Na tentativa de aproximar aquela pesquisa do contextocontemporâneo, propõe-se atualizar os apontamentos de Adornocomparando-os a um dos tipos de personalidade neoliberal atual, apersonalidade empreendedora. Uma das facetas do neoliberalismo éa construção de subjetividades voltadas ao sucesso individual, muitasvezes caracterizadas pela afi rmação do empreendedorismo como meiopara este fi m. Este artigo apresenta alguns pontos de entrelaçamentoentre o tipo autoritário adorniano e o sujeito neoliberal empreendedor,como apresentado por Pierre Dardot e Christian Laval em A NovaRazão do Mundo (2016).
