Abstract
This study compares the speed skating development programs of Japan and other skating outstanding countries, which as Canada, and the Netherlands, and analyzes the similarities and differences.The purpose of this study is to build a development system based on similarities and differences, and the text mining analysis method is utilized.As a result of the analysis, Canada focuses on the development stage and trainability with the support of the Canadian government.Also, Canada aims the development based on the quantity and quality of training and competition.In the Netherlands, skating is popular and is recognized as a lifelong sport.Skating in the Netherlands helps to set up the philosophy, goals, and training of athletes according to the stages of athletes' body, mind, cognition, and emotion.Japan provides a general sports perspective to enable guidance to the growth and development of athletes and aims to develop athletes at the coaches' discretion.
