Cet article porte sur la catégorie de l’« agitateur », apparue en Albanie pendant les deux premières décennies du régime du Parti communiste. Les agitateurs ont principalement contribué à l’amplification du consensus et à la propagation de l’idéologie du Parti parmi les masses à une époque où les autres dispositifs du pouvoir se consolidaient. L’article vise à identifier cette catégorie d’acteurs, à retracer leur mission, leurs fonctions et leur action, mais aussi à comprendre les causes de leur prolifération durant les années 1950, celles de leur déclin dans la seconde moitié des années 1960, ainsi que leur héritage.
