Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

High Resolution Image Download MS PowerPoint Slide Two-dimensional semiconducting gallium sulfide (GaS) has garnered notable interest for its distinct structural and optical properties, which position it as a promising candidate material for various applications ranging from photodetection and photovoltaics to nonlinear frequency conversion. In this work, we determined the out-of-plane longitudinal sound velocity, v L, via impulsive time-domain femtosecond broadband Brillouin scattering measurements performed on a single flake-like GaS crystal. We obtained a value v L = (3140 ± 20) m/s, which yields an out-of-plane compressive elastic constant, C 33 = (38.1 ± 0.5) GPa.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
