Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Let L ( s ) = ∑ n = 1 ∞ a n n − s be an L -function in the Selberg class, and q L its conductor. Let ℓ 0 ( L ) be the constant term of the Laurent expansion of L ′ / L at s = 1 . We show that for certain families F of L -functions in the Selberg class with polynomial Euler product: • If L ∈ F has no zeros β + i γ with β > 1 − δ ( log q L ) − 1 , | γ | < ( log q L ) − 1 / 2 for some absolute δ > 0 , then ℜ ( ℓ 0 ( L ) ) ≪ F log q L ; • If ℜ ( ℓ 0 ( L ) ) ≪ log q L for all L ∈ F , then there is some absolute δ > 0 such that L has no zeros β + i γ with β > 1 − δ ( log q L ) − 1 , | γ | < ( 1 − β ) 1 / 2 ( log q L ) − 1 / 2 . This generalizes, for instance, the case of families of Dedekind zeta functions of number fields with bounded degree.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
