Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Internationalization as a result of globalization is a focus in higher education institutions to develop and implement strategies at institutional level to stay competitive in the global market. While internationalization is usually measured with student mobility whether it is in terms of international and exchange, there has been a shift and a push to internationalize in other areas of higher education such as staff and faculty recruitment and retention, cross-culture collaborations and partnerships in research, teaching and learning, and curriculum. Internationalization of teaching and research is now even more needed because the number of international students, exchange, and scholars have been increasing around the world, bringing equity between Global North and South, and to equip current students and future generations to intercultural understanding and awareness through education medium. There are recommendations given towards the end of this paper to implement strategies to internationalize teaching and research practices for faculty, scholars, and practitioners within higher education.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
