Abstract
Dans cet article, qui porte sur la version grecque de Sir 26,19-21, l’auteur cherche à répondre aux questions suivantes. Qui se cache derrière le mot allotriois au v. 19? S’agit-il de femmes adultères, de prostituées ou d’étrangères ? Comment faut-il comprendre la métaphore du v. 20 ? Du fait que cette métaphore est unique dans la Septante, doit-on y voir la trace d’une influence grecque ? Quel type de relation entre l’homme et la femme cette métaphore suppose-t-elle ? En somme, cet article vise à montrer que la métaphore agricole est une clé herméneutique qui permet de comprendre la relation homme-femme en Ben Sira 26,19-21.
