Abstract
В статье анализируется исторический феномен латентного заложничества в брачной сфере, связанный с комплексом архаических институтов традиционной древнегерманской культуры — кровной местью и матримониальным свойством, межгентильными отношениями и выплатой вергельда. Для раскрытия темы в хронологических рамках V–VIII вв. выделяются два цивилизационных полюса — имперская стратегия брачной политики и основанный на многовековом опыте межродового союзничества и вражды германский институт брачного заложничества. Их историческое столкновение рассматривается на примерах внутрисемейной политики остгота Теодориха Великого, инверсированной меровингской модели у франков и эталонного воплощения в англосакских королевствах VII в. Были выявлены существенные различия в этнических культурах восточных и западных германцев (готов, вандалов, лангобардов, бургундов, франков и англосаксов). Делается итоговый вывод о выраженной динамике в сторону угасания и политической формализация для живой древнегерманской традиции за раннесредневековый период, закончившийся брачным казусом между Карлом Великим и англосакским королем Оффой. The article analyzes the historical phenomenon of latent hostage in the marital sphere, associated with a complex of archaic institutions of traditional Old Germanic culture — blood feud and matrimonial relationship, intertribal contacts and payment of wergild. Two civilizational poles are distinguished to disclose this topic in the chronological limits of the 5-8th centuries: the imperial strategy of marriage policy and the Germanic institute of marriage hostage based on experience of alliance and hostility. Their historical clash is considered on the examples of the family policy of the Ostrogoth Theodoric the Great, the inverted Merovingian model of the Franks and the perfect realization in the Anglo-Saxon kingdoms in the 7th century. Significant differences were revealed in the ethnic cultures of the East and West Germanic peoples (Goths, Vandals, Lombards, Burgundians, Franks and Anglo-Saxons). The final conclusion is made about the attenuation dynamic and political formalization for a living Old Germanic tradition for the early medieval period, ending with a marital incident between Charlemagne and the Anglo-Saxon king Offa.
