Abstract
Cet article vise à analyser la manière dont le paradigme écosocial peut être appliqué dans le domaine du travail social en tant que champ de connaissances et d’interventions, dans le contexte du changement climatique entraînant des événements extrêmes. Le contenu de cet article est issu des données recueillies lors de rencontres de groupes focalisées dans le cadre d’une étude mixte intitulée Une évaluation sociosanitaire des inondations 2019, six mois plus tard : optimiser les services de santé et l’intervention psychosociale post-désastre visant la résilience des collectivités aux extrêmes hydrométéorologiques (Généreux et coll., 2019). Les réflexions mettront en lumière certaines conséquences sociales qu’entraînent les inondations et les types de pratiques sociales dans un contexte d’urgence. Une attention particulière sera accordée à la transformation des visées du travail social, qui s’avèrent pertinentes à l’ère des changements climatiques.
