Pembatalan Konser di SXSW Sebagai Langkah Diplomatik Grup Musik Reality Club dalam Respon Konflik Israel-Palestine

Abstract
Di tengah konflik Israel–Palestina yang belum mereda, satu langkah berani dilakukan oleh grup musik asal Indonesia, Reality Club. Band yang berasal dari Jakarta tersebut memberikan dukungan kemanusiaan kepada Palestina dengan membatalkan rencana konser mereka di SXSW, sebuah tempat perhelatan seni yang ada di Austin, Texas, Amerika Serikat. Reality Club yang sedang melakukan tour di Amerika Utara tersebut membatalkan rencana show mereka di SXSW karena ditemukan fakta bahwa SXSW didanai oleh angkatan darat Amerika Serikat yang memberikan bantuan besar kepada Israeli Defence Force atau tentara Israel yang melakukan genosida terhadap rakyat Palestina di Gaza. Dengan adanya pembatalan tersebut membuat Tour yang sedianya telah berjalan empat dari delapan kota dan menyisakan empat kota lagi, berkurang dengan hanya menjadi tiga kota, yaitu di Chicago, Toronto (Kanada) dan Brooklyn. Langkah diplomasi yang dilakukan oleh Reality Club merupakan salah satu bentuk kajian dalam Hubungan Internasional yang bernama Power Mass Movements. Reality Club, dalam hal ini memposisikan diri mereka sebagai penggerak dalam power mass movements yang mana Reality Club, sebagai musisi yang berpengaruh di Indonesia serta memiliki pengikut yang besar dari sosial media melihat bahwa mereka dapat menggunakan previlege mereka untuk menyuarakan kebenaran.
