Abstract
The contemporary landscape features intensified interconnectivity and challenges transcending national borders. With the expansion of global governance networks and the rise of supranational regulatory institutions, there is a pressing need to explore the complexity and dynamism of modern political economy. This chapter analyzes the contemporary political landscape through the lens of postinternationalism, highlighting the evolving nature of global governance and the challenges posed by interconnectedness and interdependence. It argues that traditional approaches to international relations are insufficient in addressing the complex and multifaceted crises facing the world today, advancing a shift towards collaborative governance and the need for innovative and inclusive approaches to decision-making and problem-solving. By presenting collaborative governance as a viable solution to crisis, the chapter contributes to the ongoing discourse on international relations. It offers insights into how the international community can work together to address the complex challenges.
