Faire de la prévention autrement ! Les adaptations du programme ESPACE en contexte pandémique

Abstract
Les organismes ESPACE ont adapté leur programme de prévention de la violence envers les enfants afin de maintenir sa diffusion dans les établissements scolaires et à l’extérieur de ceux-ci en contexte de COVID-19. La tenue d’un groupe de discussion regroupant cinq animatrices d’ESPACE et l’analyse de rapports d’activités d’organismes ESPACE produits entre 2019 et 2022 ont permis de documenter ces adaptations. Il ressort des analyses que les ateliers virtuels pour parents et les activités en ligne sont une avenue prometteuse pour prévenir la violence envers les enfants. Toutefois, ces activités doivent impérativement être évaluées pour bien en mesurer le potentiel.
