Abstract
À partir du constat de défaut de capital social des jeunes sortant de l’Aide Sociale à l’Enfance en France, notre recherche-action vise à faciliter le maintien et le développement du nombre de personnes sur lesquelles les enfants « peuvent compter » et « qui comptent pour eux » (Paugam, 2015), pour près de 150 enfants et jeunes placés dans des villages d’enfants d’une fondation. Après avoir dressé un état du contexte de la protection de l’enfance, et du défaut de capital social des familles dont les enfants sont pris en charge, cet article présente des situations d’enfants et de jeunes plutôt isolés ou plutôt entourés. Ainsi, nous montrerons en quoi l’accompagnement de l’Aide Sociale à l’Enfance peut contraindre le maintien et la création de liens des enfants et des jeunes et comment des actions peuvent rendre des opportunités possibles.
