L’humour des femmes au Québec au XXIe siècle: Vers une poétique du moche, du fluide et de l’apocalyptique

Abstract: Cet article vise à repenser l’utilisation des cadres théoriques principaux en études de l’humour, dont le découpage proposé par Morreall (1983) entre théories de la supériorité, de l’incongruité, et de la détente psychique, qui continue à orienter la recherche en humour, pose problème pour l’inclusion de la production culturelle des femmes. L’article dégage une poétique humoristique des femmes par l’analyse de trois œuvres québécoises contemporaines : le numéro de stand-up « Sable dans le vagin » de Mariana Mazza (2015), la vidéo d’animation « La pureté de l’enfance » de Zviane (2017) et la websérie Quart de vie écrite par Kadidja Haïdara (2014–17). L’analyse montre de quelle façon les œuvres mettent en scène trois modes humoristiques : l’humour « de chez les moches » (inspiré de King Kong théorie de Virginie Despentes, qui permet de contester les théories de la supériorité), l’humour fluide (qui remet en question la validité de l’incongruité comme critère premier en humour), et l’humour apocalyptique (qui reprend le terme de Regina Barreca et qui remet en question le besoin de détente psychique en humour). L’étude du corpus contemporain permet aussi de souligner un important changement de paradigme en ce qui a trait à la représentation de sujets longtemps tabous.
