Abstract
Cet article vise à fournir une histoire des principales œuvres féministes de cette période riche en productions culturelles politiques dans le domaine de la bande dessinée. Il met en lumière les principaux thèmes abordés ainsi que l’image de la femme véhiculée par ces bandes dessinées. Il compare ces chefs-d’œuvre et diverses œuvres de la même période dans le but de démontrer la force du discours de ces bandes dessinées qui sont le plus souvent ouvertement critiques sur la condition féminine. Les principaux magazines examinés sont Croc, Châtelaine, La Vie en Rose, mais aussi quelques ouvrages tirés de fanzines. Le texte est construit comme un dialogue entre un chercheur en communication et une auteure qui a publié des bandes dessinées féministes au cours de cette période. Les conclusions montrent la charge corrosive derrière les œuvres répertoriées qui n’épargne personne, le désir de provocation de leurs auteures pour susciter un changement de mentalité profond et un imaginaire prolifique qui a permis de renouveler la forme des bandes dessinées qui dominait jusque-là.
