İş Başvurusunda Bulunan Engelli Bireylerin Bilişsel ve Fiziksel Düzeylerinin Yaşam Kalitelerine Etkisinin İncelenmesi

Abstract
Amaç: İş başvurusunda bulunan engelli bireylerin bilişsel ve fiziksel aktivite düzeyleri iş istihdamları için önemlidir. Bu çalışmada iş başvurusunda bulunan engelli bireylerin bilişsel ve fiziksel durumlarının yaşam kalitelerine etkisinin incelenmesi amaçlandı. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Çalışmaya Mayıs-Haziran 2024 tarihleri arasında, İstanbul ili XXX ilçesinde bulunan İŞKUR’a başvuran 72 engelli birey dahil edildi. Çalışmanın verileri yüz yüze görüşme tekniği ile Sosyo-Demografik Bilgi Formu, Montreal Bilişsel Değerlendirme Ölçeği, Fiziksel Engelli Bireyler İçin Fiziksel Aktivite Ölçeği ve Dünya Sağlık Örgütü Yaşam Kalite Ölçeği kullanılarak elde edildi. Değişkenler normal dağılım göstermediğinden ilişkisel tarama için Spearman korelasyon analizi kullanıldı. Bulgular: Katılımcıların bilişsel seviyeleri ile yaşam kaliteleri arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olmadığı tespit edildi (r=0.172, p=0.15). Katılımcıların fiziksel aktivite düzeyleri ile yaşam kaliteleri arasında pozitif yönde ve zayıf bir ilişkinin olduğu (r=0.26, p=0.03) bulundu. Sonuç: Çalışmamızda, iş başvurusunda bulunan engelli bireylerin fiziksel aktivite düzeylerinin ve yaşam kalitelerinin birbiri ile pozitif yönde bir ilişkisinin olduğu sonucuna varıldı. Çalışmamız işe başvuran özel bir engelli grubunda bilişsel ve fiziksel limitasyonların yaşam kalitesine etkisini değerlendiren Ülkemizdeki ilk çalışmadır. Çalışmamızın sonucunun gelecekte yapılacak araştırmalara yol gösterici olacağı düşünülmektedir.
