Abstract
En partant de la récupération comparative d’éléments ethnographiques de deux processus phonographiques développés avec une communauté religieuse afro-brésilienne (Ile Omolu Oxum) et des représentants du peuple indigène Tikuna, ce travail cherche à réfléchir sur la gestion sociotechnique des représentations phonographiques dans des contextes d’économie sonore négociée, marqués par la dialogie et le désaccord. Modélisés comme des drames phonographiques, les séries musicales rassemblées exemplifient la manière dont les processus d’enregistrement et d’édition permettent de suivre les débats et les dilemmes sur ce qu’est la tradition, constituant des arènes où les musicologies sont accentuées à partir de certains répertoires et certaines façons d’organiser les situations d’enregistrement pour objectiver sonorement des lieux et des collectifs. Les ethnographies du processus phonographique, dans ses étapes et ses technologies d’interaction et de représentation, sont également utiles pour revoir les conditions de génération d’archives sonores-musicales déjà constituées, ainsi que pour réfléchir à leur gestion aujourd’hui, de l’accès aux archives et au droit d’auteur, jusqu’à la production de nouveaux phonogrammes1.
