Abstract
Face à une crise socioécologique sans précédent, le monde de l’éducation est de plus en plus confronté à devoir repenser ses fondements et ses pratiques. La vision du monde mécaniste qui a marqué les subjectivités depuis la Révolution scientifique doit être transformée en vue de l’adoption d’une vision plus organique ouvrant sur une éducation fondamentalement écologique. Une telle éducation a pour tâche de contribuer au développement de nouvelles formes de subjectivités humaines engagées dans des réseaux de relations empreints de respect, de réciprocité et d’harmonie. En prenant appui sur les réflexions des théoriciennes écoféministes Carolyn Merchant et Pauline Phemister, cet article propose des éléments de réflexion spéculative quant aux implications de la philosophie de la nature leibnizienne pour le déploiement d’une éducation contemporaine résolument écologique.
