Abstract
Ce texte explore comment la justice transformatrice contribue à la lutte pour l’abolition des prisons et de la police en offrant des alternatives révolutionnaires à la violence étatique. En retraçant des exemples aux États-Unis et au Québec, ainsi qu'au Rojava, et au Chiapas, il illustre comment des pratiques communautaires peuvent répondre aux violences et aux conflits sans recourir aux systèmes judiciaires punitifs. Les auteur-ices soulignent la nécessité de soutenir les initiatives autochtones et de connecter avec les initiatives de justice réparatrice, en prônant une culture collective de soin et de responsabilité. Iels proposent de créer des structures locales et régionales, inspirées de modèles révolutionnaires, pour soutenir la responsabilisation collective, le soin et la médiation, dans une démarche fondée sur l'amour et la solidarité.
