Abstract
L'éducation critique et dialogique joue un rôle fondamental dans la protection de l'environnement et le respect des êtres vivants qui l'habitent et en dépendent. En ce sens, la philosophie pour enfants, qui intègre la littérature engagée dans ce type d’éducation, peut contribuer à sensibiliser aux défis que notre époque nous impose et à rechercher des solutions possibles. Dans un contexte marqué par l’éco-anxiété, une éducation centrée sur l'espoir, la créativité et la joie peut être stimulante et mobilisatrice, tant pour les enseignant·e·s que pour les enfants. Cette réflexion m’a amenée à explorer l’œuvre de Gianni Rodari et ensuite, à écrire un livre pour enfants. Les étapes du processus créatif que j'ai traversées en tant qu’autrice sont l’occasion d’illustrer comment, dans la littérature pour enfants, il est possible de se concentrer sur la créativité, la recherche de solutions et la joie, sans toutefois éviter les questions d’injustice, et en respectant l’intelligence et les émotions des enfants.
