L’activisme en communication dans la télénovela Órfãos da Terra

Abstract
Cet article propose d’analyser la télénovela brésilienne Orfãos da Terra à l’aune de la notion de la diversité. Première télénovela dont la thématique principale touche aux migrations contemporaines dans le pays, elle est diffusée entre le 27 avril et le 2 septembre 2019, soit durant le gouvernement d’extrême droite de Jair Bolsonaro (2019-2023). Écrite par Duca Rachid et Thelma Guedes et réalisée par Gustavo Fernández, elle met en scène le quotidien de personnes arrivées récemment de différents endroits du monde (Syrie, Congo RDC, Haïti, etc.) dans la ville de São Paulo et vivant dans un foyer d’accueil catholique. À travers une analyse sémio-discursive de plusieurs épisodes, cette étude propose de mettre en lumière les représentations des migrations construites au sein du feuilleton télévisé et les enjeux socio-politiques qui en ressortent, notamment sur les discours et les contre-discours de la diversité au Brésil
