A agenda de pesquisa que investiga a interação de humanos com inteligências artificiais (IA) tem ganhado destaque recentemente com a popularização de ferramentas como ChatGPT, Gemini e Midjourney. Este artigo propõe uma discussão introdutória, exploratória e teórica sobre as limitações da sociologia tradicional para investigar a problemática dos atores não-humanos. Paralelamente, o texto apresenta uma revisão de literatura sobre os conceitos básicos que contornam o advento da inteligência artificial. Por fim, o artigo coloca em discussão um arcabouço teórico baseado na Teoria Ator-Rede (TAR) de Bruno Latour, junto à tecnicidade de Gilbert Simondon, como uma abordagem de pesquisa consistente para estudar a interação de usuários e algoritmos inteligentes, humanos e não humanos.
