Urban waterfronts play a crucial role in the socio-economic and ecological fabric of cities worldwide. Drawing insights from case studies such as Sydney Harbour in Australia and the Toronto Waterfront in Canada, the study highlights innovative design strategies that balance urban development with environmental sustainability. Key components include the integration of green infrastructure for stormwater management, the creation of multifunctional public spaces, and sustainable transport solutions. Looking forward, utopian designs envision waterfronts that prioritize ecological health, social equity, and economic vitality, aiming to enhance urban resilience and quality of life.
