Fire Reaction of Carbon Epoxy Composite Laminates at Small and Large Scales
Bibliographic record
Abstract
To study the antiflammability of composite material panels, assemblies, or components, certification standards require significant [Formula: see text] samples to withstand a kerosene flame for 15-min tests. To better analyze thermophysical phenomena involved in a flame exposition of composite-based samples, a laboratory test bench composed of a small-scale air–kerosene burner has been developed. The current work presents the development of a representative kerosene burner in terms of aerothermal stress generated by determining the right settings for the flame parameters and by comparing the fire-induced degradation process of several four-ply epoxy-composite samples. Two laboratory-scale tests are made and compared to a large-scale one made on a standardized fire test bench.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
