Abstract
In December 2010 - January 2011, a salvage excavation was conducted in the Newe Rabin quarter of Or Yehuda (Permit No. A-6070; map ref. 187833/659110; Fig. 1), prior to infrastructure construction. The excavation, undertaken on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and financed by Yahel Engineers, was directed by F. Volynsky, with the assistance of Y. Arbel (area supervision), E. Bachar and Y. Amrani (administration), O. Ashkenazi (field recording), M. Kunin and M. Kahan (surveying and drafting), A. de Vincenz and E. Yannai (pottery), A. Yaroshevich (flint tools), E. van den Brink (basalt vessels), M. Shuiskaya (pottery drawing), M. Smilansky (flint drawing), A. Peretz (field photography), C. Amit and A. Gorzalczany (studio photography), E. Kamaisky and A. Fadida (ceramic restoration), O. Raviv (stone restoration), M. Sadeh (archaeozoology) and A. Glick (historic firearms).
