Abstract
Obserwując rozwój filogenetyczny i ontogenetyczny człowieka, można zauważyć, że podstawą ruchu, niezbędnego zarówno dla rozwoju organizmu, jak i nawiązania interakcji społecznych, jest rytm. Pierwotne formy komunikacji oparte na ruchu, w tym ruchu tanecznym, ewoluowały w kierunku komunikacji w języku fonicznym. Autorka artykułu szuka punktów wspólnych pomiędzy frazą melodyczną i frazą językową, wskazuje na struktury w korze słuchowej, aktywizujące się w czasie percepcji dźwięków instrumentalnych i językowych. Przedstawia obiektywne badania, które udowadniają, że wykształcenie muzyczne nie jest obojętne dla poziomu umiejętności językowych. Wiedza ta otwiera zupełnie nowe możliwości terapeutyczne. Zaplanowany trening muzyczny doprowadza do zmian strukturalnych i funkcjonalnych w mózgu dziecka, co zwiększa jego zdolności poznawcze i umiejętności przetwarzania językowego.
