PALYATİF BAKIM HASTALARININ AĞRI, ANKSİYETE VE ÖLÜM KAYGILARININ BELİRLENMESİ

Abstract
Bu çalışma, Sivas Cumhuriyet Üniversitesi Hastanesi Palyatif Bakım Ünitesi'nde yatan hastaların ağrı, anksiyete ve ölüm kaygısı düzeylerini değerlendirmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Ağrı, anksiyete ve ölüm kaygısı palyatif bakımın etkili yönetimi için kritik öneme sahiptir. Araştırma, Şubat 2023 - Mayıs 2023 tarihleri arasında tanımlayıcı olarak planlanmış, 18 yaş üstü, bilişsel ve mental bozukluğu olmayan, palyatif bakım ünitesinde yatan hastalar araştırmanın örneklemini oluşturmuştur. Veri toplama araçları arasında Hastaların Tanıtıcı Özelliklerine İlişkin Anket Formu, Beck Anksiyete Envanteri, McGill Ağrı Ölçeği Kısa Formu ve Templer Ölüm Kaygısı Ölçeği yer almaktadır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS 23.0 programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma bulguları, katılımcıların %57.1'inin erkek, %82.1'inin evli ve %67.9'unun en az bir kronik hastalık tanısı aldığını göstermektedir. Beck anksiyete ölçeği puan ortalaması 32.50, ölüm kaygısı ortalaması ise 7.05 olarak bulunmuştur. Ağrı ile anksiyete arasında pozitif bir ilişki, yaş ile anksiyete arasında ise negatif bir ilişki tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak, palyatif bakımda ağrı, anksiyete ve ölüm kaygısının yönetiminin hastaların yaşam kalitesini artırma açısından önemli olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır. Hataları çok boyutlu değerlendirerek, multidisipliner bir yaklaşım benimsemek, bu hastaların ihtiyaçlarını karşılamak için kritik bir gerekliliktir.
