Abstract
This poem elucidates the experiences of a young mathematician when they are dealing with hard proofs in pure mathematics.It reveals the mathematician's emotions and well-being in times of solving difficult mathematical problems and conjectures.The content of this poetry is inspired by the quote of famous astronomer and physicist Arthur Eddington which says "Proof is an idol before whom the pure mathematician tortures himself."In addition, the poem portrays that pure mathematics equations and formulae are already created by God and mathematicians are just discoverers through their curious minds and interests.Furthermore, the poetry pictured mathematics as beautiful logic and as an art that provides pleasure and unexplainable motivation to young mathematicians.
