Abstract
İklim değişikliği, doğal kaynaklara dayalı turizm türü olan ekoturizmi doğrudan ve dolaylı olarak etkilemektedir. Çalışmada, “İklim değişikliğinin ekoturizm üzerindeki etkilerine karşı hangi kentsel adaptasyon yaklaşımları uygulanmaktadır?” sorusuna yanıt aranmıştır. Çalışmanın amacı, iklim değişikliği nedeniyle artan sıcaklıklar, sel, orman yangınları ve ekosistem bozulmalarının ekoturizm destinasyonlarındaki olumsuz etkilerini belirlemek ve bu sorunlara yönelik kentsel adaptasyon yaklaşımlarını ortaya koymaktır. Araştırmada, literatür taraması yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Yöntem, mevcut bilimsel çalışmaların derinlemesine analiz edilmesini sağlayarak iklim değişikliğinden olumsuz olarak etkilenen ekoturizm ve kentsel adaptasyon yaklaşımlarının bütüncül bir perspektifle ele alınmasını sağlamıştır. Çalışmanın önemi, iklim değişikliği karşısında dirençli hale getirilmesi gereken ekoturizmin, kentsel adaptasyon projeleriyle nasıl desteklendiğinin dünya örnekleri ve Türkiye üzerinden ele alınmasıdır. Araştırmanın bulguları, Paris’teki yeşil alan uygulamaları, Toronto’daki Yeşil Turizm Haritası, İzmir’deki Bademler Doğal Yaşam Köyü gibi kentsel adaptasyon projelerinin ekoturizmi desteklediğini göstermektedir. Bu projeler, doğal kaynakların korunmasını, çevresel etkilerin azaltılmasını ve yerel toplulukların ekonomik katkısını hedeflemektedir. Sonuç olarak, kentsel adaptasyon stratejileri, iklim değişikliğinin ekoturizm üzerindeki olumsuz etkilerini hafifletmede önemli bir araç olarak değerlendirilmektedir.
