A bstract This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of Tai Chi as a supplement to traditional treatments for knee osteoarthritis (OA). A 48-year-old woman diagnosed with knee OA participated in a 12-week Tai Chi program, alongside conventional physiotherapy. The outcomes were measured using the Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Arthritis Index score. The use of Tai Chi as a conservative management strategy showed promising results in alleviating pain, improving physical function, and enhancing the quality of life. These findings suggest that Tai Chi could be integrated into clinical practice for the conservative management of knee OA. However, further research is required to confirm these results and assess the long-term effects of Tai Chi on knee OA.
